GWM (HKG: 2333) saw sales decline in the final month of 2025 due to weak performance from its Haval brand, despite overseas sales hitting a new high.
The automaker sold 124,020 vehicles in December, down 8.33 percent year-on-year and down 6.90 percent month-on-month, according to data released today.
This marks GWM’s first year-on-year monthly sales decline since April 2025, as the overall market showed weakness toward year-end.

GWM’s sales remain primarily driven by its Haval brand, which sold 66,453 units in December, accounting for 53.58 percent of the company’s monthly volume.
Haval’s December sales fell 20.34 percent year-on-year and were down 11.85 percent month-on-month. This marks the second consecutive month of year-on-year sales decline for the brand.

The Tank brand sold 21,129 units in December, accounting for 17.04 percent of GWM’s monthly sales. This represents a 3.43 percent year-on-year decrease and a 12.45 percent drop from November.

The Haval brand sold 758,554 vehicles in 2025, a 7.41 percent increase year-on-year, contributing 57.31 percent of GWM’s total sales during the same period.
The Tank brand sold 232,713 vehicles in 2025, a 0.74 percent year-on-year increase, contributing 17.58 percent of GWM’s total sales during the same period.
The Wey brand sold 101,954 vehicles in 2025, an 86.29 percent year-on-year increase, contributing 7.70 percent of GWM’s total sales during the same period.
